The Endura Flap uses magnetic seals to help close the flap after your dog goes through. For especially small dogs or older pets that may have a harder time pushing the flap open, some of the magnets can be removed to make it easier for them to use.

Will My Dog Have A Hard Time Learning To Use the Dog Door?
Most dogs learn how to use the pet door pretty quickly. There may be a short adjustment period while your dog gets comfortable pushing through the flap, especially if they have never used a dog door before.
We recommend using treats and praise while they learn. For dogs that need a little extra help, you can remove a couple of magnets or use a chip clip to hold the flap slightly open until they get used to pushing through.
