Meet Our Family
Hi, we’re Michelle and Jeff, the owners of Valley Pet Door. We were born and raised in Santa Clarita, California, and this community has always been home.
We have three adult children and are patiently waiting for those grandkids to arrive. In the meantime, we’re enjoying our role as proud pup parents to Lili and Ace, and proud grandpup parents to Monkey, Sadie, and Nano.
Pets have always been a big part of our lives. We’ve been lucky to share our lives with many special dogs over the years, including Jaggy, Benji, Red, Comet, Nala, and many others who have left their paw prints on our hearts.

How Valley Pet Door Began
So, how did we end up here? Honestly, it started with a product we came across that we thought was pretty amazing.
Jeff’s childhood friend was offering these pet doors in Idaho, and when we learned more about them, we were really impressed. The quality was there, the design made sense, and we could immediately see how this could solve a problem for so many pet owners here in California.
We kept thinking, “Why don’t more people know about this?” It was a great solution, and we knew there were families looking for something better than the traditional options.
As we started looking toward the next chapter of life, we realized this was a great opportunity to build something of our own — something flexible, meaningful, and centered around something we’ve always loved: dogs.
Why We Believe in This Product
We believe in this product because we use it ourselves. We’ve had our own pet door for almost two years now, so we’re not just sharing something we sell — we’re sharing something we trust in our own home.
